Last Chance Alert: 2016 Mustang Dream Giveaway
In 12 days, your chance to enter to win two Shelby Mustangs in the 2016 Mustang Dream Giveaway will be gone forever.
So to help you visualize what it is like to win both ground-pounding Shelbys, we contacted the past lucky ticket holders of the Mustang Dream Giveaway and asked them to reflect on their life-changing wins, courtesy, of course, of Dream Giveaway.
“Winning those two Mustangs was a miracle for my family and I. We loved sharing the cars with friends and neighbors and at car gatherings. After awhile we were able to sell the beautiful cars to a collector and buy a home to start our family. Not many people get to own and share such beautiful cars and we were truly blessed to have that chance. We now have four children and there’s a picture of the Mustangs on the wall with the rest of the family. I can’t imagine how different our lives would have been if I had never got that amazing phone call. Thank you, Dream Giveaway!”
— Thomas Barker, winner of the 2011 Mustang Dream Giveaway
“The cars are a joy to own. I have taken the 2014 Mustang to several car shows and everyone is always amazed to see that Dream Giveaway really does give away these prizes.”
— James Calder, winner of the 2014 Mustang Dream Giveaway
“When I won the 2015 Mustang Dream it really came at the perfect time because I was able to share the experience with my twin sons. Not only was the experience wonderful but also it was wonderful knowing I was helping some great causes. It really is a win-win situation.”
—Tim Turbett, winner of the 2015 Mustang Dream Giveaway
Fun Facts: Hellcat Dream Giveaway
What has four wheels and flies? Hint: The answer is not “a garbage truck!”
The correct answer is “Dodge Charger Hellcat.” You only have 12 days left to enter. So you are prepared if you win, here are some fun facts about the Charger Hellcat that you’ll want to share with your friends.
Fun Fact #1
The Dodge Charger Hellcat’s supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 can burn through 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at peak performance. That rate would theoretically drain the fuel tank in 13 minutes. (Source: USA Today)
Fun Fact #2
The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) has certified the SRT Hellcat at 11.2 seconds in the quarter-mile straightaway on factory 275/40ZR20 Pirelli PZero tires. (Source: USA Today)
Fun Fact #3
The Dodge Charger Hellcat is the fastest production sedan on earth. The Charger Hellcat (204mph) is faster than the 2015 Aston Martin Rapide S (203mph), the 2015 Bentley Flying Spur (200mph), the 2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo S (200 mph), and the 2015 BMW M5 30th Anniversary Edition (190mph). The next-closest American sedan is the Cadillac CTS-V. (Source: Dodge.com)
Fun Fact #4
The Dodge Charger Hellcat is faster than the famous 1970 Dodge Daytona wing car, the first NASCAR stock car to break the 200-mph barrier and set a world record. (Source: Allpar.com)
Fun Fact #5
There are real diamonds in every Charger Hellcat. It takes 80 horsepower to spin the massive supercharger, so the crankshaft pulley must be secured extremely tightly—and regular steel washers don’t have the friction to clamp on with enough force. Chrysler sourced diamond-embedded steel washers, which raise the coefficient of friction three-fold over straight steel, and grip onto the crank with zero slip. The washers also make a lovely anniversary gift. (Source: Road and Track)
Trip Time: Live at Super Bowl LI
2016 Big Game Dream Giveaway winners Russell and Alison Rosiak from Chicago, Illinois, had the trip of a lifetime when Dream Giveaway flew them to Houston, Texas, for the extreme excitement of Superbowl LI. The grand-prize included three-nights at a world-class hotel, admission to a VIP pre-game tailgate party hosted by NFL greats, and the big game itself—the New England Patriots versus the Atlanta Falcons. The Rosiaks chronicled their amazing trip with some amazing photos, shown here.

Winner Spotlight: Corvette Dream Giveaway
Congratulations to the newest member in the Dream Giveaway family of winners— John Wilson from New Orleans, Louisiana. The lucky Mr. Wilson turned a generous donation to help charity into one of Dream Giveaway’s biggest prize-packages of 2016—a NCRS Top-Flight 1965 Corvette Sting Ray convertible and a 2016 Z06 convertible modified by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering to 800 hp.
Ken Lingenfelter, the owner of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, flew in from Motor City to share his unique perspective on the Corvettes during the live-broadcast award ceremony. Lingenfelter is now in its 10th year as the presenting promotional partner of the Corvette Dream Giveaway and is currently working on the top-secret Corvette that will be revealed in the next Corvette Dream Giveaway launching on April 2, 2017, nationwide.
We checked in with Mr. Wilson to see how he was reflecting on the paid-trip to Clearwater, Florida, to be handed the keys to both ground-pounding Corvettes. Here’s what he had to say: “”The award ceremony last Friday (February 3, 2017) went very well. I still feel surprised and shocked that I won. I am thrilled and thankful to have won the 2016 Corvette Dream Giveaway. I am also thrilled that my donation went to help so many great causes.”
The Dream Giveaway promotions this month include Mustang, Hellcat, Bandit, Camaro and Home Improvement. Which ones would you like to say you’ve won?
