Last Chance: 2017 Corvette Dream Giveaway
The 2017 Corvette Dream Giveaway Ends Soon!
It’s been a fun-filled year for the fuel-injected Corvettes in the 2017 Corvette Dream Giveaway brought to you by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, but the countdown clock is ticking and you need to act now if you want to be in the running for the coolest little red Corvettes in Dream Giveaway history.
If you like horsepower—and who doesn’t?—then we really want both of these Corvettes to be in your garage.
Here’s why. The 2017 Corvette Z06 is a top-of-the-line factory performer with extra oomph to the tune of 800 horsepower. (That’s 150 horsepower over stock!) The classic 1963 Sting Ray is an ultra-rare, four-speed fuelie, making it one of the most collectible midyear Corvettes ever produced.
That’s plenty of reasons to enter, and here’s one more. The 2017 Corvette that you’ll take home if you’re the winner is the first Corvette in Dream Giveaway history to make the cover of Hot Rod magazine. There’s not a higher honor in the entire muscle-car world!
Of course, you can’t buy this pair of lickety-split red Corvettes anywhere. And on December 28th, your chance to win them will be gone forever.
Winner Spotlight: Smalltown Dentist Scores $10K to Amazon.com
“You’ve got to stay in it to win it.”
That’s could be the motto of our newest Dream Giveaway winner, Clark Elkins, after hearing that his generous donation to help charities paid off big in the 2017 Shopping Spree Dream Giveaway. Clark, a small-town dentist, was in shock when we called him days before Thanksgiving and told him that a whopping $10,000 Amazon gift card was going to beat Santa to his house this year.
“When I first got the call that I had won I wasn’t sure if it was for real but then I heard everyone in the background cheering for me. I try to make it a regular practice to donate to a charity every month, which is why I decided to enter the giveaway. My wife and I have six kids so it is going to be a good Christmas for them!”
Our newest “mini” Dream Giveaway is a $10,000 gift card to The Home Depot. Be sure to enter now and you could be joining our winner’s circle, just like Clark.

In 1997, Eastwood launched the first DIY powder coating system, and today, we are launching a scroll compressor that is sized and priced for the DIY hobbyist.”
In addition to products, Eastwood offers free technical support via telephone, chat and email. With a wealth of internal knowledge, Eastwood also offers a free YouTube channel that features 2,000 videos – everything from MIG and TIG welding, to painting a car and how to chop a top.

Charity Spotlight: Detroit Rescue Mission
When you enter a Dream Giveaway with your generous donation, a portion of the funds deliver needed resources to Detroit’s 107-year-old Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM). We recently checked in with DRMM to learn more about importance of its program services.
“Anybody who thinks the homeless are a bunch of lazy and good-for-nothing persons should have a talk with Ralph Mcintosh,” a DRMM team member told Shiftin’ Gears. “This Detroit native holds an associate degree in Business Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wayne State University Detroit.”
“He even had a thriving photography business until degenerative arthritis in his spine and ulcerative colitis made him unable to move around and do the things he used to do. So, he shot down his photography business, and, unable to continue paying rent, resorted to staying with some friends until one of them engaged him in a hurtful physical altercation. With nowhere else to go, Ralph turned to a Detroit Rescue Mission shelter, where he found the serenity, stability and support he needed to put his life back on track. “
“Being at Detroit Rescue Mission has been a blessing and the Lord has been using me to shine light on the possibility and power of transformation,” Ralph said.
Today, Ralph is about to move into his own apartment in Detroit, and is planning to go back to Wayne State University for his master’s degree, hoping to use it to kick-start a career as a therapist. He also hopes to restart his photography business, when his body gets stronger.
His advice for men and women facing tough challenges like homelessness is simple: “No situation is permanent, and when things turn bad, seek help from the likes of Detroit Rescue Mission and remember to be thankful in all situations.”
Thanks to Dream Giveaway, DRMM is able to continue operating programs like its daily meals to thousands of Detroit residents.
