New Giveaway: 2018 Viper Dream Giveaway
When is a race car a street car and vice versa? The answer is Dodge’s venomous Viper ACR 1:28 Edition, which was so popular that the entire production run of 28 vehicles sold out in 40 minutes. We’re giving away one in the brand-new 2018 Viper Dream Giveaway Driven by Kumho Tire.
The 645hp, grand-prize Viper is on the cover of this month’s Mopar Collectors Guide, shown here. Here’s what the periodical’s experts had to say about our vicious Viper:
“Behold, a machine that Batman would be envious of, a brand-new 2017 Viper GTC ACR Limited Edition, one of only 28 built and the grand finale for the entire Viper program! Got your attention now, don’t we?
“With Viper production shutting down, permanently this time by the looks of it, the Dodge crew wanted to send the marque off with a big bang grand finale. That came in the form of creating a unique ACR limited edition coupe to commemorate their record setting weekend at the Laguna Seca races in 2016. So, the Viper team started with a loaded down Viper GTC coupe, then added what they called the “ACR Package” and limited the total number of cars produced to only 28. As soon as they were announced, within forty minutes, all twenty-eight cars had buyers and they were off-the-market for good – until the Dream Giveaway organization managed to secure one of those twenty-eight with the express desire of making it their grand prize vehicle for their 2018 Viper Dream Giveaway Driven by Kumho Tire.”
Ending Soon: Family Fun Dream Giveaway
The Family Fun Dream Giveaway ends in:
Did you know that the average price for a four-day vacation to Disney World is nearly $5,000? That’s according to the Internet site Hipmunk.com, which analyzed prices in 2016.
We have an easier way for you to enjoy the Magic Kingdom without breaking the bank. It’s our Family Fun Dream Giveaway—a seven-day, all-expense paid trip for four to the Disney parks in Orlando, Florida, plus $2,500 for spending money.
Here’s more great news: The Disney parks are now as much fun for adults without kids as they are for kids.
According to Disneytouristblog.com, “After years of marketing Walt Disney World almost exclusively to families with small children, things are finally starting to change. We’ve been noticing more adult offerings at Walt Disney World in the last couple of years [dining, nightlife, attractions, and luxury hotels]. From the additions at Disney Springs to Nomad Lounge at Animal Kingdom to some special events, Walt Disney World is finally doing more to cater to adults without kids. It might surprise some families, but Walt Disney World is actually quite popular for adults without kids.”
So if you were holding off on entering the Family Fun Dream Giveaway because your kids have long since left the nest, now is the perfect time to treat yourself to the trip of a lifetime.
Time is running out. Enter now before the giveaway ends on January 30.
On Location: HellScat and Hemi Challenger Grand Prize
When Dream Giveaway Garage was invited to the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals this past November in Chicago, we knew we had to bring some formidable muscle to stand out from the hundreds of concours-restored 427ci Corvettes, 426ci Hemis, 429ci Fords and Ram Air Pontiacs on display. So what did we bring?
The answer was easy: HellScat, plus an ultra-rare 1970 Hemi Challenger, both drag-strip tested by the King of the Dragsters Don Garlits.
Parked in front of a bright orange Reliable Carriers trailer, our two muscle-car Mopars were the star of the show.
Here’s the Top 5 questions that spectators asked us during the show:
1. How much horsepower does the HellScat have?
2. How did you measure the HellScat’s horsepower?
3. Is the HellScat faster than the new Dodge Demon?
4. Is the HellScat street legal?
5. Will the HellScat go into production?
And here are the answers:
1. The HellScat has 1,000-plus horsepower and when we say PLUS, we mean PLUS PLUS PLUS.
2. We put the HellScat on a chassis dynamometer, which measured 945 horsepower at the rear wheels. Crank horsepower is estimated to be 120% higher.
3. You betcha! The HellScat is faster than the new Dodge Demon … and it has more horsepower, too.
4. Yes, the HellScat is street legal.
5. Like all Dream Giveaway prizes, the HellScat is one of a kind and can’t be bought anywhere. There are no plans to put it into production.
Now is your chance to put these two super-powered Challengers in your garage, plus we pay $45,000 for taxes.
