Fifty years ago, car guys hopped in their muscle cars, shifted the gears to the local matinee and sat down with a big, buttery bucket of popcorn to watch Steve McQueen put a Highland Green 1968 Ford Mustang up against a black Dodge Charger on the hilly roads of San Francisco. The movie was Bullitt.
Fifty years of Bullitt is a fantastic way to celebrate the all-American joy of muscle cars. So we’ve paired the world’s finest fully restored 1968 Mustang Bullitt restomod with a brand-new 2019 Mustang Bullitt and we’re giving you a chance to win them both in the 2018 Mustang Dream Giveaway.
The 1968 Mustang Bullitt features an old-school, 390ci Ford powerplant topped with two thirsty four-barrel carburetors, a five-speed manual transmission and the best restomod upgades from bumper to bumper.
The brand-new 2019 Mustang Bullitt packs 480hp and every available option available on the vehicle, including a special Bullitt car cover.

Winner Spotlight: Ultimate Jeep Dream Giveaway®
Whether he sets his GPS for the nearest steakhouse or the warmest camp fire, one lucky guy will have both street and trail covered with his new “Black Armor” edition Jeep Wrangler, the grand-prize in the recently completed Ultimate Jeep Dream Giveaway.
Last month, Dream Giveaway Garage called Doug Himes of Virginia and congratulated him for holding the lucky winning ticket in the Ultimate Jeep Dream Giveaway. “I couldn’t believe that it was actually me who had won,” he told us. “My thought was: I can make a donation to help some wonderful charitable organizations and if I happen to win something, that’s great but you never actually think it will happen to you.”
Traditionally, we fly the winner to Clearwater, Florida, to accept the keys to their grand prize(s). This time we’re doing something different.
Reliable Carriers, Inc. will transport the grand-prize Ultimate Jeep to the Eastwood Summer Classic Car Show and Swap Meet in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, on July 28. Dream Giveaway staff and TV personality Kevin Tetz will award the keys to the Jeep in front of thousands of car-show attendees. The winner will also receive a welding set and other great products from Eastwood.
We want you to be there. Get the details of the FREE Eastwood Summer Classic at www.eastwood.com/2018summerclassic.

Charity Spotlight: National Guard Educational Foundation
“The Deputy Director of the National Guard Educational Foundation, Anne C. Armstrong, is a retired member of the DC Air National Guard and a native of Washington, D.C.,” a NGEF spokesperson tells us. “After serving as a pilot in the active-duty Air Force for nine years, she returned home to go to law school. While attending school, she was a pilot in the DC Air National Guard and, later, was called-up on 9/11/2001. “
She came to the National Guard Educational Foundation (NGEF) in early 2012 and has been with us ever since!
“During her tenure as our Director of the Museum, Library, and Archive, Anne has overseen the renovation of over half the National Guard Memorial Museum and the development of the Library and Archives into an outstanding academic-research facility. As you can see, our goal here is to pursue our mission with enthusiasm – we teach the community and nation about the National Guard through its history and proud heritage. Ms. Armstrong has been an integral part of our success!”
The National Guard Memorial Museum is the only national museum dedicated to telling the story of the citizen-soldier and the National Guard. It is free and open to the public.
On your next visit to Washington, D.C., explore the 5,600 square feet of images, artifacts and interactive exhibits that highlight the ordinary men and women who made extraordinary contributions to their communities and their country.
