Every month, Dream Giveaway Garage brings you a behind-the-scenes look at Dream Giveaway® grand-prizes, the charities that benefit from your donation, the companies that help us build the grand-prize cars, and the lucky winners!
Thanks to feedback from classic car guys like you, this year’s Mustang Dream Giveaway brought to you by CJ Pony Parts features one of the coolest, old-school muscle machines Ford ever built — a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 factory drag racer. If you like classic power with a dash of rarity thrown in, this legendary street machine can make your dream come true.
Based upon conversations with Mustang experts, we believe this grand-prize Mach 1 is a one-of-one special-order build with all the go-fast goodies that made the Ford Mustang a legend of the muscle-car era — a Ford 428ci Super Cobra Jet V-8, Ram Air, Drag Pack and 4.30 gears. It also has extremely rare factory options, such as Pastel Grey paint, tachometer, smoked glass, radio delete and W-code Traction-Lok rear.
But that’s not all. In 50 years, this magnificent Mach 1 has only chalked up 49,000 miles on its odometer and underwent a no-expense-spared concours frame-off restoration before arriving at the Dream Giveaway Garage.
If you’ve ever dreamt of setting the dial on your wayback machine to 1969 just so you could drive a new Ford Mustang Mach 1, then listen up. Even if you missed out on your chance to score a new Mustang from a Ford dealer 50 years ago, Dream Giveaway will give you, if you’re the winner, the keys to this very rare low-mile and fully restored 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 factory drag racer.
Enter with your generous donation to help veterans and kids’ charities and you’ll be well on your way to putting this 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in your garage.

Last month, we announced the winner of the Tesla Dream Giveaway was Mervin Stalhnecker of New Mexico.
So what happens after the winner is officially the winner?
Dream Giveaway Garage picked up the tab and flew this 75-year-old retiree to Clearwater, Florida, and handed him the keys to Tesla’s quickest luxury sedan — the Model S P100D.
Like most of us, Stahlnecker had never sat in a Tesla before. Firing it up was unlike anything he had ever experienced. We are all accustomed to big-horsepower muscle cars making music to our ears, but this 588 horsepower luxury sports sedan stayed whisper quiet, even when he strapped himself into the driver’s seat and set his destination for the land of enchantment.
Luckily, there are Tesla supercharging stations all across America. In fact, there’s one less than five miles from Stahlnecker’s home.
It must be the greatest feeling on earth to know that you’ll never need to stop for gas again.
Now it’s your turn. Dream Giveaway will be announcing a new electric car grand-prize in the upcoming months.
Meanwhile, if internal combustion engines get your heart racing, then head on over to dreamgiveaway.com and get your entries for your favorite muscle cars of the 1960s and 1970s, plus a whole lot more.
Military veterans and kid’s charities are counting on you. Make your generous donation now to win the car of your dreams.

Since 1978, Eastwood has been the DIY Automotive Enthusiasts go-to source for tools, supplies, paints and know-how. Headquartered in the beautiful suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, Eastwood started as a catalog-based business, but has grown into a leader in the automotive e-commerce space (www.eastwood.com). If this is your first time hearing about Eastwood, you may be surprised by the unique selection of tools and products it offers. Many of the 4,000 products that Eastwood sells are designed and developed in-house by its product engineers. “At the end of the day, we’re all a bunch of car guys and girls,” said Nick Capinski, Eastwood’s Director of Customer Engagement. “Many of our best products come about because we were working on our own vehicles, encountered a problem, and that put us in search of a better solution. In 1997, Eastwood launched the first DIY powder coating system, and recently, a scroll compressor that is sized and priced for the DIY hobbyist.”
In addition to products, Eastwood offers free technical support via telephone, chat and email. With a wealth of internal knowledge, Eastwood also offers a free YouTube channel that features 2,000 videos – everything from MIG and TIG welding, to painting a car and how to chop a top.

When you make a donation to win the world’s greatest prize packages, your donation goes a long way to helping eradicate drunk and drugged driving. This month, Shiftin’ Gears checks in with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), and spotlights one of its amazing volunteers.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of MADD – full of passion and compassion for our mission. They are a village of ordinary citizens who have become extraordinary activists in saving lives and preventing injuries. Together, we have accomplished a great deal but, our work is not done. Drunk driving continues to be the number one cause of death on our roadways. We are committed to reaching a day of No More Victims.
This month, we honor Aliyah Hitchcock for her hard work and dedication to MADD’s mission. Aliyah lost her father in a drugged driving crash in 2016. As her family was processing their grief over the tragedy, Aliyah came to MADD. She immediately got involved with local Walk Like MADD events. After the court case was complete, she became a speaker at Victim Impact Panels, schools, events, and more. Sharing her story was a part of her healing journey but it also increased awareness of the dangers of drunk and drugged driving. Sharing her story was a way to give her father and her family a voice – a powerful voice to prevent others from experiencing such a tragedy.
Today, Aliyah is a member of MADD Southeast Texas’ Advisory Board, the Victim Services Chairperson, and Walk Like MADD Mentor Chair. Volunteers like Aliyah are rare. She has become involved in every aspect of the MADD organization and is always asking to do more. On April 9th, she was awarded the MADD Spirit Award at the Southeast Texas Law Enforcement Recognition event. We are privileged to work with her and are very grateful for her commitment.
We can’t thank Dream Giveaway enough for its support and dedication to eliminating drunk driving. Funds raised by your donations to win Dream Giveaway prizes support our lifesaving mission. It allows us to be a place for victims of drunk and drugged driving – providing an array of services free of charge. It allows us to sustain and create meaningful ways for volunteers from all walks of life to get involved. To learn more about volunteering with MADD visit us at madd.org/volunteer.
