  Partner Spotlight: Forgeline

Introducing the Forgeline Flow Formed Series wheels. They are 100% designed and engineered by Forgeline, in their Dayton, Ohio headquarters, and manufactured by their performance and quality proven partner. Over the last five years, Forgeline developed their newest series of wheels utilizing advanced flow-forming techniques and processes reserved for only the highest-quality wheels in this category. Forgeline starts with a tuned Tilted Gravity Cast (TGC) method; yielding an initial casting that is both stronger and lighter than common methods used by many other flow-formed wheels. The barrel is then formed using the newest Cold Vertical Flow Form Technology. This maintains a steadier spin angle and consistent material temperature to deliver a higher quality result and better overall material structure compared to common hot, horizontal processes.

The resulting Flow Formed F01 wheel not only looks great but are appropriately lightweight and have a street tire load rating of 1,500 pounds per wheel. With decades of engineering race wheels, Forgeline has taken this expertise and developed the best out-of-the-box, high-quality performance street wheel that can fit within your budget. The fitments include the stock sizes for the C6 and C7 Z06, Grand Sport and ZR1 clearing the carbon brakes, and C8 with a slightly more aggressive stance.   Charity Spotlight: New Beginning Children’s Homes

Every time you make a donation to win a fantastic prize in the Dream Giveaway Garage, you are helping out our sponsor charity, New Beginning Children’s Homes (NBCH). We recently checked in with NBCH for a community update.

“This last year has been a challenge for everyone throughout the world. But, in it, we have not only been able to see our organization survive, but in many ways, to thrive. In a time where our world has been struggling, we have recognized now more than ever the importance of reaching those that are hurting, alone, and in need of love and support to become who God created them to be.

“As we have transitioned our ministry focus to reach young women who are aging out of foster care, are homeless, or just find themselves on their own with no future and family support, we have had the wonderful opportunity to reach over 16 young ladies this past year. We have seen the difference that having a caring, supportive and encouraging home can make in the lives of these young women. They are gaining confidence in themselves and learning the life skills they need to be successful, self-supporting young adults. Many of them are experiencing a comfort and peace they have never had in a home environment where they feel loved, encouraged and safe. We are able to provide them with the program and tools that enables them to grow and mature, and to find themselves with a solid foundation for life by the time they graduate from our program.

“We have also been blessed to be able to minister to others through our food program at a time when food insecurity has been at an all-time high. Last year we brought in over 190,000 lbs. of food donations and have been able to facilitate giving over 13,000 lbs. of that food to foster families in our area on a weekly basis. We have also been able to give over 100,000 lbs. of that food to other local ministries that reach the homeless and others in their communities while taking care of the food needs of our houses on our campus as well.

“All-in-all, 2020 and the beginning of 2021 has been a blessing in spite of the challenges we have all faced. And thanks to the support of people and organizations like you, we are moving forward stronger and stronger.”
