Sneak Peek: 1,000+ Horsepower Dodge Challenger HellScat

For months on end, muscle-car fans from Fresno to Philly and all points in-between have been begging us to follow up our insane 2015 Hellcat X with an even-crazier Challenger that takes the word ‘extreme’ to a whole new level.

You’ll be introduced to this special Challenger Hellcat in a video we’ve prepared especially for Shiftin’ Gears subscribers. And be sure to watch the official unveiling live on Facebook at noon tomorrow.

It’s called ‘HellScat,’ — a 1,000-plus horsepower Dodge Challenger that salutes the Dodge Scat Pack of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

In top-secret testing last month in Florida, Mopar legend and 17 NHRA National Champion Don “Big Daddy” Garlits piloted the only HellScat on earth to a quarter-mile time so low that we can’t reveal it publicly … well, at least, not yet. We will tell you this – the HellScat is one of the fastest street-legal muscle cars man has ever seen.

Beginning August 11, you’ll be able to enter to win the world’s only HellScat plus a very special classic 1970 Dodge Challenger. These grand-prize Mopars will make their first public appearance at the Mopar Nationals in Hebron, Ohio, on August 12, with live streaming of the event on Dream Giveaway’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/dreamgiveaway.)

We’ve saved the best for last. Both vehicles are track tested and autographed by “Big Daddy” Don Garlits for one lucky winner.

That’s what happened last month when we loaded up the grand-prize of the 2017 Mustang Dream Giveaway brought to you by Steeda Autosports and headed up to Dawsonville, Georgia, to show off our 875-horsepower Shelby GT350X to the loyal Mustang fans at the Hoofbeats at the Track event at Atlanta Motorsports Park.

Meeting us there was Dario Orlando, the founder of Steeda Autosports, who spoke to Mustang fans about how his company has become known as the leader in Mustang performance.

Thanks to everybody who stopped by the Dream Giveaway booth and chatted with us about their Mustangs … and the two grand-prize Mustangs they want to win in the 2017 Mustang Dream Giveaway brought to you by Steeda Autosports.

Last Call: Bandit Dream Giveaway Ends August 29

It was beyond our wildest expectations to work with Hollywood legend Burt Reynolds on our current 2017 Bandit Dream Giveaway, and we’ve saved some of that excitement just for you if you’re the lucky winner.

As you see in the video, back in 2015 Mr. Reynolds congratulated the winner of the first Bandit Dream Giveaway, which has since ended, in a personal video that the lucky ticket holder will cherish forever.

We want Burt “The Bandit” Reynolds to make his next congratulations video personally to you if you’re the winner, but you need to hurry. Time is running out to enter the 2017 Bandit Dream Giveaway.

The grand-prize package is every Smokey and the Bandit fan’s dream come true. The winner will take home a restored 1977 Pontiac Trans Am Special Edition, which Mr. Reynolds used to film a TV commercial. If you win, you’ll find Mr. Reynolds autograph on the Shaker scoop and on the glove-box door. And if you’re the lucky winner, when you put the pedal to the metal in this grand-prize Bandit Trans Am, be sure to saddle up with a custom Stetson hat we’ll include, which was also autographed by Mr. Reynolds.

Now close your eyes for a second and imagine the sound of Burt Reynolds’ voice talking directly to you and saying, “Congratulations, you’re the winner of the Bandit Dream Giveaway.” It sends shivers down your spine, doesn’t it?

  Product Spotlight: Tire Stickers

Surely at one point or another, you’ve heard the phrase, “They don’t make them like they used to.” White-tire lettering and white walls were things of the past, and have been missed by car enthusiasts and consumers around the world. You literally couldn’t find a business that provided such services for your tires. For years, we’ve had to put up with the suffering of boring black tires that have no appeal. It was time for someone to take a stand and say, “No more boring tires!” Low and behold, the clouds separated and the sun shined down to reveal the Los Angeles, California-based company: Tire Stickers.

When Dream Giveaway Garage wants to complement its super high-horsepower street machines with a bit of old-school DNA, we turn to our good friends at Tire Stickers. Check out any of our major promotions, like the Camaro Dream Giveaway, the Mustang Dream Giveaway, and the brand-new Challenger Dream Giveaway and you’ll see Tire Stickers’ raised letters on our grand-prize vehicles’ tires.

Shiftin’ Gears recently visited with Tire Stickers owner Keith Ferry to see how he and his team are bringing back the old-school look of raised-letter tires.

Tire Stickers allows you to customize your wheels through raised white lettering kits, white wall tires, custom logos, badges and more. Since 2007, it has been serving the motorsports community with custom branding solutions, including collaborations with tire companies and sports teams. They also offer two core products to consumers, including a short-term solution intended for car shows, advertisements, track days, photo shoots and rallies, and a long-term raised-letter solution, which has been developed to last the entire life-cycle of the tire. The short term, or otherwise known as peel and stick, are strong enough to withstand racing conditions, yet can be removed and replaced at a moment’s notice. The long term, or permanent option, consists of a rubber compound that will maintain its original color and withstand the
elements for the entire life cycle of the tire.

There are virtually no limitations when it comes to this company’s capabilities, including licensed tire brands, custom logos and badges, replicating white-wall tires or any other color, raised-rubber-letters and more. Their products are available in all standard colors, such as white, red, yellow, green, orange and blue. Have a custom car color? No worries, they can color match it, too, so your tires look as if they were made specifically for your car. It truly is a miracle! Tire Stickers have been highlighted in Dream Giveaway promotions, and in movies like The Fate of the Furious, video games like Grand Theft Auto and more! So now when someone says they don’t make them like they used to, you can pull up with your new Tire Stickers and prove them wrong. They do make them like they used to … and better and more durable, too.

As a special offer for Dream Giveaway’s Shiftin’ Gears readers, join the revolution and customize your tires today with a complimentary 15% off your first purchase using coupon code DREAM15 at www.TireStickers.com.

“A MADD Victim Advocate literally and figuratively picked me up and pieced me back together after my best friend was killed by a drunk driver. And that’s what I try to do for other victims.”
— Kimberly, MADD South Carolina

As a result of your generous donations to Dream Giveaway promotions, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) will receive a grant to help further its mission to help those affected by drunk driving.

The testimonies we receive from MADD remind us of the incredible service this organization performs in communities across America.

In this issue of Shiftin’ Gears, we introduce you to a MADD volunteer who helps victims of drunk drivers recover. Her name is Kimberly from South Carolina.

“Just the other day, a woman called me in tears, crying and sharing her feelings of re-victimization after the offender who killed her husband had his sentence reduced from 20 years to 30 months.

“We had a crash where an offender drove into a home, killing a father of five. I helped each family member fill out page after page after page of victim assistance forms and connected the family with Red Cross, as their home was destroyed. For another case, I sat in court for the longest DUI trial in Greenwood County. For seven days, I drove an hour and a half each way to hold the hand of a woman who lost her son to drunk driving.

“Providing victim services also provides joy. I was privileged to attend a celebration in honor of one of a victim, Kenneth, a former firefighter killed when a drunk driver hit his fire truck while he worked a separate crash. I was incredibly proud to stand with the family as bicyclists completed part of a 600-mile bike ride in his honor.”

If you have been impacted by drunk or drugged driving, or know someone who has, please contact or share MADD’s 24/7 victim helpline 1-877-MADD-HELP and website www.madd.org/help. MADD Victim Services provides emotional support and referral services at no charge to victims and survivors through trained victim advocates across the county. You are not alone. We can help.
