Every month, Dream Giveaway Garage brings you a behind-the-scenes look at Dream Giveaway® grand-prizes, the charities that benefit from your donation, the companies that help us build the grand-prize cars, and the lucky winners!
Congratulations to the lucky winner of the 2018 Corvette Dream Giveaway, D. Bryan of Alabama with winning ticket #1497220. Now it’s your chance to be the next winner when you enter the brand-new Corvette Dream Giveaway brought to you by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.
What would your reaction be if we called you and said you had just won a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and a world-class restored 1961 Corvette? Would it be shock? Excitement? Elation?
That’s exactly what could happen in the brand-new Corvette Dream Giveaway brought to you by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.
More on that grand prize package – the 1961 Corvette looks like it just came off a Barrett-Jackson television special. Its brilliant black paint and retina-burning red interior make this Corvette look like a movie star.
The brand-new 2019 Corvette ZR1 is a 775 horsepower limited edition with some bragging rights of its own – it’s the fastest production Corvette ever created by Chevrolet.
Together, these two Corvettes comprise the most valuable prize package in Dream Giveaway history.
Now is the perfect time to visualize how these grand-prize Corvettes will look in your garage. While you’re working on that, be sure to head over to www.dreamgiveaway.com and load up on entries.
In fact, make it a point every month to make a donation and by the end of 2019, you’ll have multiple chances to put these tire-shredding Corvettes in your garage.
HURRY! THE CHEVELLE DREAM GIVEAWAY ENDS IN
Shut your eyes and say the following three phrases, “396,” “four-speed” “American muscle car.” Did the image of a big-block 1970 Chevelle Super Sport come to mind?
It should. That’s because the 1970 Chevelle SS396 was the king of the American muscle cars.
Dream Giveaway searched out one of the coolest Chevelles ever made — the 375-horsepower L78 big-block, which was only available to the public in the fall of 1969. The example we found — and that you can enter to win — was crowned the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Grand National champion.
Randy Bolig, the editor of Chevy Hardcore, put some seat time in on this grand-prize Chevelle and said, “I challenge you to find a better looking, better driving, and overall better representation of Chevrolet’s iconic Chevelle.”
With that level of endorsement, you know you’ll bring home one of the country’s finest Chevelle Super Sports if you’re the winner.
Take a look at the countdown clock. Time is ticking. Sprint on over to www.dreamgiveaway.com and fill up your shopping cart with entries.
If we call you and tell you that you’re the winner, you’ll bring home this fully restored Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport plus we’ll pay $10,000 for the taxes.
When you’re a kid, you follow around the ice-cream truck to score a fudgcicle or a bullet pop. When you’re an adult, you follow around the Snap-on truck to score a shiny set of fractional combination wrenches or flex head long handle ratchet set.
That brings us to the new Ultimate Toolkit Dream Giveaway — the grand-prize is $10,000 to the Snap-On online store.
Tool storage. Hand tools. Power tools. Shop and tech tools. You pick the tools. We pick the winner.
Enter and win and you can select the Snap-On tools of your choice from the comfort of your home. The Snap On online store will even deliver your tools to you, much like Amazon does for its customers.
So head on over to dreamgiveaway.com and pick up your entries to win $10K to the Snap-On store.
Since 1978, Eastwood has been the DIY automotive enthusiasts go-to source for tools, supplies, paints and know-how. Headquartered in the beautiful suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, Eastwood started as a catalog-based business, but has grown into a leader in the automotive e-commerce space (www.eastwood.com). In addition to catalogs and e-commerce, Eastwood has three retail locations: Pottstown, PA, Alsip, IL, and Parma, OH.
If this is your first time hearing about Eastwood, you may be surprised by the unique selection of tools and products it offers. Many of the 4,000 products that Eastwood sells are designed and developed in-house by its product engineers.
“At the end of the day, we’re all a bunch of car guys and girls,” said Nick Capinski, Eastwood’s Director of Customer Engagement. “Many of our best products come about because we were working on our own vehicles, encountered a problem, and that put us in search of a better solution. In 1997, Eastwood launched the first DIY powder-coating system, and recently, a scroll compressor that is sized and priced for the DIY hobbyist.”
In addition to products, Eastwood offers free technical support via telephone, chat and email. With a wealth of internal knowledge, Eastwood also offers a free YouTube channel that features 2,000 videos – everything from MIG and TIG welding, to painting a car and how to chop a top.
To learn more about Eastwood or to request a free catalog, visit www.eastwood.com. Be sure to let Eastwood know that you read about them in Dream Giveaway’s Shiftin’ Gears.
As we accelerate through 2019, Shiftin’ Gears will bring you special messages from the Dream Giveaway’s trusted charities. This month let’s pull out the party hats, cake and candles because Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries is having a birthday. Can you guess how old they are?
Before we tell you the answer to that, please keep in mind that if non-profit Detroit Rescue Mission were to close its doors today, as many as 2,200 needy neighbors, including veterans, seniors, children and returning citizens, will be back on the streets, without help and hope. Veterans who put their lives on the line to defend our freedoms will return to homelessness and despair. At-risk youths will lose the over $1 million worth of scholarships Detroit Rescue Mission provides each year to enable them to enjoy sporting, educational and leadership development activities at its sites. The scourge of substance abuse will increase, and returning citizens will suffer the agony of being shut out of the community.
Thankfully, Detroit Rescue Mission is not closing its doors. Not in a million years. In fact, today alone, this Dream Giveaway grant recipient will provide 4,500 meals to the hungry. Over 100 children staying with their single moms in Detroit Rescue Mission’s various housing programs will receive much needed tutoring and care. Hundreds of men and women will visit Detroit Rescue Mission’s warehouse in Detroit and food pantry in Roseville, Michigan, today for free essential items to take care of their beloved families.
So how old is Detroit Rescue Mission?
They turn 110 years old this month.
Head on over to www.dreamgiveaway.com and make a generous donation on your favorite prize package. You’ll be helping the trusted charity Detroit Rescue Mission continue its mission to feed the hungry and rehabilitate the homeless of Motor City.
